Bilskenhof was formerly called Hoevelshof and was owned by Theodor Bielski, after whom it later took its name. During the Swedish period in Livonia, the estate initially came into the possession of State Councillor Baner. In the 18th century, the Baltic families von Grünblatt, von Tiesenhusen, and von Lilienfeld were known as its owners. The last owner was probably Charlotte von Hansen, the general's wife, née von Transehe. After the Latvian land reform, the house served as a school for many years. The modest manor house has nine bays, including a three-bay central risalit, and is crowned by a high gable roof. It has a full basement. Electricity is connected to the house, while water is currently available only from a well on the property. Behind the house are the remains of a historic park with a pond. The structural condition of the manor house can be described as average.
