Living and working in a palace or a countryside manor in Poland

Despite increasing demand, the sales offers for castles, manors and country estates in Poland is still quite large.

The country has a high density of palaces and historic estates in rural areas due to its changeful history and despite great damage and losses caused by the two world wars. It is the cultural heritage of the former Kingdom of Prussia, but also witnesses of the former noble republic of Poland-Lithuania. In the historic centers of Mazovia and Lublin, almost a quarter of the population belonged to the nobility, which is why there are still many larger and smaller residences of Polish magnates and the lower nobility to discover in the eastern and southeastern parts of the country.

In almost all voivodeships of Poland, exciting character properties are waiting for new owners. Even if low price manors and favorable real estate offers are quite still possible, prospective buyers should know that this does not correspond to the rule any longer, because in principle the time of the bargain castles is past in the Eastern European countries. For companies and investors, larger palaces are interesting as investment projects for entrepreneurial activities and young people dare the adventure with the purchase of a manor house in need of renovation. In addition to family and friends, they often have fans and helpers at their side, who are mobilized via the Internet: "Dare the impossible for the love of old houses" is the motto of the of Polands's old house savers.
