The first castle was built in 1711, followed by a new Baroque-style castle in 1774.

This distinctive villa was designed and built in 1911 by architect Albert Uhlmann as his personal residence. Featuring traditional "Heimatstil" architecture, the two-story plastered structure includes a hipped roof, decorative half-timbering and an asymmetrical layout with bays and projecting sections that reflect the early 20th-century style.
