Bożków Castle, formerly known as "Schloss Eckersdorf" was regarded as one of the most distinguished and architecturally significant castle estates in the former County of Glatz in Silesia. Built in the 16th century as the residence of the Counts of Magnis, the property was originally designed in the Renaissance style and subsequently expanded and remodeled over several centuries. Its present appearance reflects multiple construction phases and is strongly defined by the extensive transformations carried out in the 19th century.
Despite a variety of uses after 1945, large portions of the original and valuable interior features have been preserved throughout the castle. Historic room layouts, decorative elements, and high-quality craftsmanship remain clearly visible, conveying the estate’s former representational character.
According to the current local land-use plan, the property is designated as a service zone. This zoning allows for a wide range of potential uses, including mixed-use concepts in the fields of commercial services, healthcare, education, culture, and tourism.
As a nationally protected historic monument, the castle holds significant cultural and historical value and is considered worthy of long-term preservation. The property is particularly suited for investors or organizations with a clear vision, a well-defined concept, and the financial capacity required to responsibly develop and maintain this exceptional ensemble.
