Palace in Pustków Żurawski

The manor in Pustków Żurawski in Lower Silesia is a palace-like building with a polygonal clock tower, built in the middle of the 19th century for landowner and sugar manufacturer Carl Christian Naehrich. The interior shows a high-quality and rich interior design, parts of which have been preserved until today, including stuccowork, ceiling and wall paintings, a prestigious staircase, fireplaces, paneling and stained glass windows.

After the Second World War, the sugar factory was nationalized, offices were established in the palace, and later the building was used for municipal purposes, including a kindergarten, before the municipality sold the monument to a private owner.

Behind the building there is a large open space today: the ruins of the former sugar factory were completely demolished.
