French renaissance style townhouse in Łódź
The townhouse of factory owner Hermann Konstadt is located at
ul. Piotrkowska 53. The street is considered to be the original center and today it is a popular promenade of the city. It was here that the first representative tenement houses of Łódź factory owners and entrepreneurs were built.
After its construction in 1885, it was one of the most beautiful buildings in Łódź. The eye-catcher of the facade is the central bay supported by two atlases. Today, the building houses various stores and offices.
