Heessen Castle in Hamm

Heessen Castle is located in the Hammer district of the same name and is not to be confused with Hessen Castle in Saxony-Anhalt.

Seen here is the three-winged red brick manor house with characteristic neo-Gothic stepped gables and a 32-meter-high main tower.

The castle grounds are home to the private high school Landschulheim Schloss Heessen and a popular venue and filming location for cultural events of all kinds.
