Manor houses in Warmia: Jankowo

South of Elbląg(Elbing in former East Prussia) is the small village of Jankowo with an interesting manor house from the end of the 19th century with eclectic forms.

Particularly dominant are the two-story risalites, which give the in itself rather compact manor house a stately castle-like character. This impression is further enhanced by an additional veranda on the courtyard side and a large terrace with open staircase on the park side. To the south of the manor are the farm buildings - agriculture is still practiced there today.

The manor in Jankowo has a private owner from the region and has not yet been renovated. Inside, some elements from the building period have been preserved, including the representative entrance area with a beautiful wooden staircase and decorative columns, the garden salon, historic floors, tiled stoves, doors, paneling and skylights on the upper floor.
