The spa town of Baden-Baden near Karlsruhe, with its internationally renowned casino, has left behind a multitude of architectural sights from its heyday in the 19th century. Besides the stately new castle on the Florentinerberg and buildings worth seeing in the Bäderviertel, the private villas in the west of the city are especially worth seeing.
