The late-medieval Seibersdorf Castle (12th/15th century) is nestled among neighboring buildings in the village of the same name (325 inhabitants) on a sunny terrace above the Inn Valley. It is quietly and privately set within a large garden (approx. 4,400 m²) with ancient oaks, beeches, and lindens.

The castle is located near the metropolitan region of Nuremberg in Upper Franconia, in a state-recognized resort with good infrastructure. The construction dates back to around 1559, having been rebuilt after a fire in 1559. It was raised by one floor in the second half of the 17th century and partially renovated in 1764.

The first documented mention of the village dates back to 1330 with the reference to the residence of Jakob von Redwitz zu Redwitz in Hain. In 1395, Ulrich I. von Künsberg-Wernstein acquired the manor. Adolph August von Künsberg had the castle chapel built in 1668, which later received parish rights. The first castle was built in 1711, followed by a new Baroque-style castle in 1774.
