Listed country property for sale in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania!

Formerly founded as the stables of a manor on fieldstone foundations, the building was constructed around 1800 as part of a larger estate and was extensively renovated and modernized to a high standard in the 1990s and subsequent years. The historic property is listed for its exceptional architecture and historical significance. The two-story manor house with a striking wall structure of brick and fieldstone is crowned all around with battlements and ends with a developed attic in the form of a gable roof with beaver tail roofing. To the south, there is another one-story residential wing with a boiler house. Framed by the main house and the south wing is the spacious terrace made of historic paving, which merges into the garden and lawn areas. The historic manor house stands on a plot of land of about 2,500 m², the living space is about 425 m². Inside, the rooms are very generously designed, embedded in brick and fieldstone walls with wooden beam ceilings, some of which are several meters high. A large fieldstone kitchen, a spacious hallway, three bathrooms and several bedrooms and living rooms with high-quality materials of wood and stone, as well as two strikingly large fireplaces fill the core of the manor house. Wooden windows and doors adorn the exterior walls. Everything else must be experienced.

Location of the estate:

The historic manor house is located in the most beautiful part of northern Germany, more precisely in the Rostock district of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. To the north borders the district of Vorpommern-Rügen, to the southeast the district of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. The nearest small town is only a few minutes away. Both Rostock and the regional airport Rostock-Laage are within easy reach in 35 to 40 minutes, as is Mecklenburg Switzerland in the Müritz district. The Mecklenburg Lake District in the south, the Baltic Sea in the north with Zingst and Darß and the numerous Baltic Sea spas as well as the islands of Rügen and Usedom are each only a little more or less than an hour away. The immediate surroundings are characterized by a flat, unspoiled landscape with nature reserves and natural watercourses. Whether it is a castle, manor house or estate, there are numerous listed buildings in the immediate and wider surroundings. They underline the historical importance of the region, which has always been coveted by knights and nobility. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the state with the most manor houses and estates in Germany.
