Former "Wettiner Hof" hotel is a landmark building in the Saxon town of Reichenbach in the Vogtland district. It is a two-storey clinker brick building with a decorative facade. The central section with a large entrance gate is flanked by two corner towers, while the rear has a simple plaster facade.
In GDR times, the building housed several rental apartments of different sizes. Accordingly, the current state of the building can be considered simple, although some of the original doors and wooden floorboards have been preserved. The first floor consists of a large commercial unit (former restaurant) as well as various offices and ancillary rooms. The attic has been partially converted and still offers sufficient expansion potential.
In recent years, the property has mainly been used as storage space. The structural condition is generally in good order and forms a good basis for renovation and development. There are various possible uses, such as development as a residential and commercial building, condominiums or commercial premises; social and care services are also conceivable.
