Renaissance manor with park in eastern Slovakia

We offer a late Renaissance manor house from 1648, located near the eastern Slovakian metropolis of Košice.

At the beginning of the 19th century, it was rebuilt in the classicist style and between 1880 and 1890, romantic neo-Gothic elements were added. The Szirmay family used the manor house until 1918, when they emigrated to Hungary and continued to manage their property through legal representatives. During the Second World War, the German army had a garrison in the manor house. After 1948, the manor house was home to a pottery cooperative.

The manor house is a listed building and is owned by a private company, which means it is not open to the public. It also includes a small adjoining park, which is enclosed by a stone wall.
