Casa Del Monastero is a typical Umbrian stone house situated on a wooded hill, with fabulous valley views that include mountains, castles, and historic towers of the region. The property is arranged over two floors, currently configured as two separate residential units connected by an external staircase. Each floor features multiple access points to spacious panoramic terraces and garden areas through its characteristic wooden doors.
The ground floor offers a large living room connected to a panoramic dining area, three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a fully equipped modern kitchen. From here, one can access a large loggia with beams and stonework, ideal for enjoying summer days in the shade. Throughout the house, original exposed wooden beams and carefully maintained terracotta floors have been preserved.
An external stone staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is a kitchen with a balcony, a spacious living room, and two large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The sloping ceilings on this floor evoke a mountain lodge, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere.
The house is surrounded by a multi-level paved terrace, enhancing the charm of Casa Del Monastero. A wooden staircase leads to the pool terrace with the large swimming pool (4 x 16 m), from which one can enjoy the magnificent panorama. The property is set within woodland and features tall cypresses, olive trees, and many other low-maintenance plants.
The stone house enjoys an excellent forested location, approximately 20 minutes from the nearest towns such as Pietralunga and Umbertide, ensuring maximum privacy and tranquility. Yet, just a short walk away is an excellent panoramic restaurant and the historic San Faustino Abbey.
