Historic dwelling house in Kampinos National Park
Historical forester's lodge in Kampinos National Park. The park is located northwest of Warsaw and is now a popular recreational area. The forest area, which covers almost 400 km², is one of the UNESCO biosphere reserves. Among other things, it is home to an open-air museum with historic dwellings in traditional Polish architectural style, some of which were translocated here from the region, as well as a memorial commemorating the crimes committed by the German occupation of Poland during World War II.
