Masurian Palaces: Dobrocin

The manor house in Dobrocin is located directly on Voivodeship Road No. 519, which connects the two voivodeships of Pomerania and Ermland-Masuria, about 6 km west of Morąg. The former baroque manor house was remodeled in 1840 for the Prussian administrator Johann Friedrich Domhardt and shows elements of the Neo-Renaissance and Neoclassicism.

The manor house housed an agricultural school after 1945. Later, a new building was erected behind the manor house, which today leads to a deterioration of the historical appearance.

The reconstruction of the manor house was started. However, the work was not continued, manor house and park are for sale.
