Prötzel Castle in the Märkisch-Oderland district has been owned by Vagram Ekavyan since 2007. Initially planned for redevelopment and conversion into a luxury hotel, in July 2020 the Märkische Oderzeitung instead reported planned residential development on the castle grounds, which cover around 2 hectares.
