The building was built as a summer residence by Stanisław Gąsecki around 1930 and was structurally based on the Romanticism of the 19th century. Gąsecki was the son of the Polish pharmaceutical entrepreneur Adolf Gąsecki, founder of the factory "Adolf Gąsecki and Sons", a company famous for the manufacture of headache pills. The building has been a listed building since 2014.

Almost 30 minutes by car from Warsaw, it is often barely noticeable for those passing through: The villa of the pharmaceutical company Stanisław Gąsecki is isolated and hidden on a small hill on the edge of the forest on Nadwiślańską Street in Józefów. The once extravagant summer residence with its arcades, battlements, decorative joints, stone carvings and the side tower has not been used for several years.

The villa stands on a 9,000 m² plot of land with its own access to the Łacha Lake (Jezioro Łacha), which is located at the rear of the house. The living space is approx. 300m². The unusual property was offered for sale last year for the equivalent of about 770,000 EUR.

A small item that would also be ideal for tourist use: the area is dominated by well-kept houses, properties, small hotels and holiday complexes.
