Manor in Rossin

Rossin is located south of the small town of Anklam in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In the village stands a remarkable classicist manor house from the end of the 19th century, built for the Kolbe family. Worth seeing is the preserved heart of the building, which appears inconspicuous from the outside, on a square floor plan with a central skylight: through a small anteroom one enters the openly designed main area. The ground and second floor rooms are arranged around the symmetrical stair hall. Currently, the house is privately owned and not open to regular visitors (2021).
