The restored courtyard property in Germignaga dates to the 17th or early 18th century and was originally an olive mill (frantoio); the original stone press remains in place. As much of the comparable historic agricultural building stock on Lake Maggiore has been demolished or extensively altered, a preserved frantoio of this restoration quality is rarely available on the market.
