The grand period building known as INDIANA HOUSE sits right in the heart of the Coastal Village of A Guarda/La Guardia, which lie on the southern tip of Galicia. The village boasts more than fifty buildings built by returned emigrants from Puerto Rico. These houses were built in the second half of the s. XIX and the turn of the XX century, returnees from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Brazil. Indian houses are characterized by the use of stonework, tile and wrought iron. Originally, some were residential in nature, and others were dedicated to business or social purposes. A significant number of houses are preserved in all the parishes, although Calle Galicia and Calle Puerto Rico stand out above all because a number of this house were built with a grand sense of open space.
This amazingly beautiful and huge house (582 sqm) is located in the centre of A Guarda and boasts a huge plot of 8,500 sqm of extensive and ornate gardens and secluded spaces like gazebos with their tiled seats and on the back wall several original features. One of them being a large stone fountain surrounded by cobblestones around it and a great variety of ornamental trees throughout the garden.

The vibrant city of Vigo is just 52 km.
