The following information provides an overview and may vary.
I am selling a unique 15th-century property in Palencia, located in the historic region of Tierra de Campos in Castilla y León.
This is the only civil structure in the city that still retains its original wooden beam ceilings from that era. While the building’s original purpose is not definitively known, some local sources suggest it may have been an oratory (prayer house) dedicated to Saint Pelayo.
The façade dates back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
On the ground floor, there is a well set on carved stone and topped by a five-meter-wide Mudéjar brick arch. The well is four meters deep and carved into sandstone. A small niche, once used to hold water pitchers, is still preserved. Additionally, there are two masonry wells on the property, one of which collects rainwater.
This exceptional property offers creative minds the opportunity to transform it into an extraordinary home or vacation retreat.
