Manor estate with Park Near Wałbrzych

The estate was founded in the 16th century as a moated castle. After it was dismantled in 1830 the current manor house was built – a two-story structure with a mansard roof and a rectangular floor plan. The building includes a basement and a representative central hall on the ground floor. The middle section forms the historic core.

At the end of the 19th century an east wing with Dutch architectural elements was added. In the early 20th century another wing with a spacious terrace and a glazed Art Nouveau veranda followed. Alterations after 1945 changed the original floor plan.

The property is connected to water sewage electricity and lightning protection. The built-over area is 518 m².

On the northwest side stands a single-story brick utility building with vaulted ceilings and a ceramic tile roof. The 104 m² structure is currently rented out as storage space. Windows and doors are made of wood.

A monumental entrance gate from 1870 marks the access to the park. The property is enclosed partly by a 1.10 m stone wall and partly by a damaged chain-link fence set on a stone base.

The listed landscape park was created in the 1870s and has been registered as a Polish heritage site since 1986. It features old yew stands a small ornamental pond in the southeast and a central clearing. In the early 20th century conifers were added to the tree population. A fragment of an 18th-century stone wall likely marks the boundary of a former kitchen or orchard garden.

Special funding option for municipal heritage properties

The listed portion of the property accounts for roughly 93% of the total price. Under Polish law the purchase price can be reduced by up to 50% if the buyer invests at least the amount of the reduction into the property within five years of acquisition.
