The castle is located in the village of Trnová, just a few minutes from Prague. It has a usable area of 1,585 m² and sits on a 4,253 m² plot with a pond, pavilion, and fountain. The garden is divided into two sections: one in a romantic English style and the other in a formal French style with symmetrical layout.
On the ground floor is the owner’s apartment, which includes bathrooms, an office, a bar, a wine cellar, a library, a dining room, and additional utility rooms. The castle has two separate kitchens equipped for professional culinary use. The upper floors contain two salons and dining areas, 10 bedrooms with private bathrooms (total accommodation capacity of 22 people), wellness areas with a hot tub, sauna, massage room, and heated indoor pool. Parking is available in the garage (4 cars), on the property (at least 8 spaces), or on the parking lot next to the church (15 spaces).
The building underwent a full renovation in 2007, and a further renovation of all rooms and the façade was completed in 2021. The heating system is based on air-to-water heat pumps; backup electric boilers are also available. Durable materials were used, including oak parquet, ceramic tiles, brick floors, and solid wooden beams. Sanitary fixtures from Bath Deluxe, custom lighting, and furniture from TON and BoConcept are included. Three refrigeration and freezer units and high-quality kitchen equipment from Redfox and Electrolux are installed. The property is connected to a security camera system.
Architecture
The oldest part of the castle dates back to 1688 (Baroque). Before 1789, an additional floor was added, and the building was remodeled in a neoclassical style. Between 1860 and 1864, it was rebuilt in a romantic style inspired by English Gothic, featuring risalites, terraces, loggias, and corner turrets.
