Moated Castle Château de Pont-Saint-Pierre

The commune of Pont-Saint-Pierre is located in Normandy, southeast of the city of Rouen. The castle, with a U-shaped plan, is located on an island surrounded by the Andelle River. It was built on the remains of a medieval fortress of the Dukes of Normandy and remodeled several times over the centuries. The last visible remodeling dates back to the 19th century. The listed park was created around the moat in 1810. The private castle property is not accessible, but can be easily seen from the public space.
