Castle in Domanice, Lower Silesia

Originally a Gothic castle, Domanice was built in the 13th century on the right bank of the Bystrzyca River and extensively rebuilt in later years. Currently, the complex consists of a four-story building with an L-shaped ground plan, located on a hill with a tower on the courtyard side. The entrance leads across a stone bridge over a moat. The building has preserved many elements of interior decoration, such as ceilings, walls decorated with stucco, fireplaces and 19th century stoves. It is surrounded by a beautiful landscaped park.

Planning and renovation works are in progress: Applications and decisions of the State Monument Conservator, 70% completed architectural designs and structural-architectural works such as:

• Demolition of the pump hall and the swimming pool in the park.
• maintenance works in the park
• demarcation of the property boundaries for the fence
• surveying, installation of a septic tank
• Restoration works - 3 rooms on the first floor - uncovering of Renaissance paintings
• Archaeological works - medieval bridge, courtyard, cellar
• Archaeological monitoring - excavation of a pit for a septic tank, insulation for belvedere
• Exterior insulation - south wall - Belvedere building

The castle complex can be used commercially in the future, a concept in the medical or tourist field is proposed.
