Exceptional historical property in the immediate vicinity of the Bystrzyca Valley Landscape Park. The palace and park complex in Samotwór is about 30 minutes by car from the market square in Wrocław and 10 minutes from the airport.

The manor Pałac w Samotworze (old German name "Schloss Romburg") was built in the years 1776-1781 by famous architect Carl Gotthard Langhans (creator of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, among others) on a hill on the Bystrzyca River near the western border of Wrocław. Experts point out that Langhans realized here a complete spatial and architectural program of a new type of country estate inspired by the new artistic ideas of English Palladianism and French neoclassicism, but also by traditional Silesian country houses.

The following buildings are located on the 7-hectare site:
1. Palace
2. Hotel with 14 rooms
3. Agricultural buildings

THE PALACE
The palace was designed as a free-standing neoclassical villa. The general architectural composition refers to Palladian and English models. On the façade, between the windows of the first and second floors, there are rectangular panels with laurel garlands and panoplies.

The first floor of the building is extremely representative with a beautifully preserved and restored oval hall whose walls are decorated with rich classicist stucco, probably by the famous Wrocław artist Hans Peter Echtler. The medallions and supraports visible on the walls depict personifications of the min: strength, loyalty, bravery, health, peace and symbolic scenes. The entire room is crowned by a mirrored vault on an ellipse supported by decorative Ionic columns. In this room there is also a neoclassical fireplace from 1919 and a wooden mosaic floor from the 18th century that is in need of renovation.

The other rooms have vaulted ceilings with stucco rosettes and wooden floors. The entire first floor was laid out in the form of an amphitheater with several rooms. The total usable area of the first floor is 326 m².

Access to the first floor of the palace is via an antique wooden fan staircase, which in the opinion of the monument conservator is of great historical value. There are 8 rooms (6 standard rooms and 2 suites), all with en-suite bathrooms.

On the first floor there is a large hall with vaulted ceilings and beautiful exposed brickwork, underfloor heating (electricity) and a separate entrance - ideal for setting up a wellness area, for example, with saunas, jacuzzi and treatment rooms. There is also a large kitchen, a complete catering area and toilets on this floor.

OTHER BUILDINGS
In addition to the palace, the property also includes a renovated hotel with an area of 616 m².

The hotel has 14 rooms with private bathrooms (16-24 m²) and a 70 m² room that can be used as a conference hall (in a theater set-up it can accommodate up to 60 people, in a conference/seminar set-up about 40 people).

There is also a horse stable with barn (currently still in use) as well as a two-storey building of the former stable (1,143 m²), which can be converted into a catering business with a large banqueting hall, a large kitchen with kitchen facilities and a separate restaurant - for which the owner was granted planning permission in 2008.

All the buildings in the ensemble date from the 19th century and have an electricity connection.

There is also a private stream (ideal for relaxing on warm summer days) and a park with mature English-style trees covering a total area of around 3 hectares, dominated by plane trees (now almost 200 years old), maples and English oaks.

LOCATION OF THE PROPERY
The village of Samotwór (Kąty Wrocławskie commune) is located on the border of the Bystrzyca Valley Landscape Park and the Natura2000 area.

The property is very conveniently located and borders directly on the Wrocław conurbation. The travel time by car to Wrocław's market square is around 30-40 minutes.
