Mansion Villa Wanda in Konstancin-Jeziorna

Many historical villas in Konstancin-Jeziorna are located in the street "ul. Batorego". At number 33 there is certainly one of the most beautiful residences. "Villa Wanda" was built around the turn of the century for a Warsaw lawyer, a two-story building with portico, terraces and forged balustrades, combining elements of neo-baroque and Art Nouveau. The main design element of the villa is the swan, which is why it is also known regionally as "Willa pod łabędziem" (Villa under the Swan). On the attic there is a depiction of a female figure feeding two swans. Below it, the inscription "Wanda" can be read, which, as with other villas in Konstancin, is an indication of a dedication.
The villa serves as a private home and cannot be visited. However, it is easily visible from the outside during a walk along Batorego Street.
