Location 

Situated just 1 km from Pontacq, a medieval village with deep historical roots, the castle lies at a strategic crossroads—both regionally and nationally—between Bigorre and Béarn. This area, close to the Pyrenees, was marked by the conflicts between Protestants and Catholics during the Wars of Religion.
