This Baroque castle was built between 1719 and 1723 on the foundations of a Renaissance fortress and is located near Pilsen/Plzeň. The castle, its park, pathways, and gardens are enclosed by a perimeter wall and are in excellent condition.
The two-story building includes a north wing constructed on the foundations of the original Renaissance structure. A fountain is located in the courtyard, and the main entrance features a prominent, representative portal. The entrance hall with barrel vaulting (112 m²) leads to the main staircase, which provides access to the first floor and the adjoining wing.
Historic architectural details are well preserved, including decorated window niches and wood carvings on the window sills. Behind a mirror in the entrance area of the oval hall, a spiral staircase leads to the tower rooms (77 m²).
The first floor contains seven rooms, including a ceremonial hall (75 m²) with a stucco ceiling and a balcony with stone balustrades overlooking the castle park.
The north wing houses the original Renaissance cellars (114.9 m²), suitable as a wine cellar or bar. The ground floor also includes a café and bar (86 m²), two apartments, and sanitary facilities. The first floor contains four additional apartments (42 m², 41 m², 29 m², and 40 m²).
The property also includes two former brewery buildings (1,000 m² and 253 m², cellar 276 m²), a three-story granary (1,000 m² per floor, cellar 200 m²), and a residential building with three apartments (4+1, 84 m²; 5+KK, 129 m²) and utility rooms (174 m²).
The castle grounds with park cover approximately 4.9 hectares and are suitable for both private and commercial use.
