Looking for tranquility and solitude? Then you've come to the right place. The manor house is situated at the edge of a forest, at the end of an old chestnut tree avenue. Meadows extend on both sides, with the "Blinde Trebel" stream meandering through as a small brook. The formerly associated outbuildings no longer exist, and the small village of Grenzin, comprising only three houses, is visible about 300 meters away. The chestnut avenue culminates in a classic driveway with a small roundabout.

The house is a simple one-and-a-half-story building with ten axes: a basement, a raised ground floor, and an attic level. It rests on a fieldstone base and is topped with a gently sloping gabled roof covered with corrugated asbestos cement. A prominent central risalit with a gabled roof emphasizes the entrance.

You enter the building from the north side through a newly installed double door, leading into the entrance hall. From there, two larger rooms branch off, some with French doors. A central hallway connects to the rooms on the south side. Two staircases provide access to the attic, which likely housed three apartments—one of which is still occupied but will be vacated. While the building is structurally sound, it requires comprehensive renovation.

Among the historic features, several beautiful panel doors, also functioning as French doors, remain, as well as a significant portion of the floorboards and a staircase. The various windows are of different designs. The front door, featuring a transom, has been newly installed according to historical models, as have the flanking windows.

Grenzin is located in the municipality of Gremersdorf-Buchholz, southwest of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund and northwest of Grimmen in Vorpommern. The coast near Stralsund and Barth is reachable in about half an hour (30 km). The small town of Franzburg lies 5 km to the north.

The Grenzin manor house stands out for its undisturbed, peaceful, and nature-adjacent location within a protected landscape area. The house is stately yet not overly large, with architecture that is more modest than elaborately representative, which helps keep maintenance costs manageable.
