The former country estate of Klein Belitz is located 15 km west of the town of Schwaan. Originally a Slavic settlement, the village first appears as Belitz in Mecklenburg documents in 1270. Today's district Neukirchen with its worth seeing fieldstone church from the 13th century is already mentioned in connection with the monastery Rühn in 1232.

Since 1715 the estate, with 514 hectares at last count, belonged to the v. Langen family, which was rather small by Mecklenburg standards. The last owner was the dressage rider Carl-Friedrich von Langen, who won a double Olympic gold medal in Amsterdam in 1928. In 1931, the estate was relocated and the family of the current owners acquired the estate administrator's house.

Klein Belitz is one of the few estates with apparently 2 manor houses. Unlike usual, the taste of the times did not lead to a complete reconstruction of the existing manor house, but a second one was built next to it. In 1903, a neo-baroque house was added to the classicist first manor house from 1825, which could be reached by a connector and was then primarily used by the estate administration.

The listed house with its red brick facade has two floors and the front tail gable is decorated with a beautiful clock. The vibrant color scheme with its many white paragraphs contrasts nicely with the red brick. There is a small addition on the garden side.

The house is divided into two halves by land registry. For sale is the right half of the house. This currently has on two floors two self-contained apartments of about 150 sqm each. The property belonging to it is 2829 sqm and is divided by the house. On the front part is a larger pond, which also receives rainwater. The house has a partial basement and oil heating. Sewage is treated by a biological sewage treatment plant.

The house is continuously inhabited and is in a well-kept condition.
