This 19th century chateau is located in the town of Flers in the Orne department, right on the border with Calvados. The property includes a wooded park of 3,363 sq.m with century-old trees and a residence offering around 695 sq.m of living space.

Historical Setting

Flers is a town with roots reaching back to the 12th century. Its strategic position between Orne and Calvados made it a focal point in several key moments of French history. During the Revolution it became a center of chouan resistance, and in 1793 the town saw uprisings against conscription and anti-religious measures. Later, in 1944, Flers was touched by the battles following the Allied landings in Normandy.
